Who this course is for

For clinicians developing their soft-tissue repertoire.

Focused education for qualified dental professionals reviewing periodontal and peri-implant grafting techniques.

01

Implant clinicians

Review when a site may need soft-tissue augmentation and compare grafting approaches around implants.

02

Dentists with surgical experience

Study harvesting and recipient-site preparation through presentations, models and clinical demonstrations.

03

Periodontal practitioners

Revisit connective tissue, free gingival and socket seal grafts alongside complication discussions.

Selection · Harvesting · Stabilization

Understand the choice behind each graft.

Different grafts answer different soft-tissue problems. Connect the indication with the technique rather than learning the procedure in isolation.

Use the case presentations to understand the treatment objective, then turn to the demonstrations to examine the surgical steps. The planning and Q&A lessons bring the options together for structured review.

“
Assess the site. Select the graft. Review the technique.

What you’ll learn

From graft selection to site stabilization.

01

Allograft or autograft

Compare graft sources using three allograft case presentations and a whiteboard explanation.

02

Connective tissue grafting

Follow harvesting, incision design, flap reflection, graft shaping and fixation demonstrations.

03

Free gingival grafting

Review palatal harvesting and graft stabilization, with cases before GBR and around implant placement.

04

Tuberosity and socket seal grafts

Explore indications and watch harvesting and recipient-site placement on cadaver demonstrations.

05

Treatment planning

Work through the questions of when augmentation is needed and which grafting approach to consider.

06

Complications and materials

Review complication discussions, instrument selection and the course’s practical material recommendations.

A closer look at technique

Follow the graft from donor site to recipient site.

The connective tissue and free gingival graft sections break procedures into focused recordings. Revisit incision design, harvesting, graft shaping, adaptation and fixation without searching through a single long lecture.

  • Palatal harvesting demonstrations
  • Flap reflection and recipient-site preparation
  • Graft shaping and adaptation
  • Stabilization and final sutures
