Restorative & Esthetic Dentistry
A structured approach to tooth-preserving prosthetic rehabilitation.
With Dr. Mauro Fradeani and Dr. Leonardo Bacherini
Course information
Explore the Minimally Invasive Prosthetic Procedure concept with Dr. Mauro Fradeani and Dr. Leonardo Bacherini. Begin with facial, dentolabial and functional analysis before examining vertical dimension, centric relation and the MIPP classification.
Sixteen lessons connect these principles with no-prep, buccal and full-veneer cases. Follow a MIPP 3 rehabilitation from planning and records through impressions, provisionals, restoration fabrication and cementation, then revisit the reasoning in a recorded case discussion.
Who this course is for
Connect esthetic goals with occlusal assessment and the amount of tooth structure available for adhesive restoration.
Explore how no-prep, buccal and full-veneer approaches relate to different clinical presentations.
Review vertical dimension, centric relation and the sequence of more extensive prosthetic rehabilitation.
Bring facial and dentolabial analysis into a treatment plan that also considers function and enamel preservation.
The MIPP concept
Esthetic assessment and functional evaluation form the foundation of the MIPP treatment plan.
The course moves from classification and occlusal principles to cases illustrating MIPP 0, 1, 2 and 3. Compare the treatment choices before reviewing impressions, provisional management and definitive restoration.
Plan the restoration around esthetics, function and the tooth structure you want to preserve.
What you’ll learn
Review facial and dentolabial analysis as the starting point for prosthetic planning.
Connect functional analysis with vertical dimension and centric relation.
Study no-prep, buccal and full-veneer cases across the MIPP classification.
Follow records, impressions, provisionals, restoration fabrication and cementation in a three-part MIPP 3 case.
Case-based application
The clinical lessons illustrate different restorative demands, from no-prep veneers to altered occlusal parameters and combined MIPP 2A and 2B techniques. A concluding discussion brings the two instructors together to review cases.
