Plan and review advanced guided bone regeneration through complex, case-based surgical workflows.
With Prof. Massimo Simion
Course information
Study guided bone regeneration across vertical and horizontal defects, post-extraction sites, atrophic posterior maxillae and peri-implantitis defects.
The curriculum follows treatment planning, surgery, healing evaluation, implant placement and membrane removal through detailed clinical cases.
Who this course is for
This is an advanced surgical program for clinicians who already understand implant placement and want to refine regenerative planning and execution.
For clinicians already placing implants who want a systematic approach to complex ridge reconstruction.
For surgeons refining membrane selection, stabilization, grafting and soft-tissue closure.
For clinicians managing vertical defects, atrophic posterior maxillae and peri-implant reconstruction.
The clinical framework
Advanced GBR is presented as a sequence of connected biological and surgical decisions.
The course links defect assessment, graft selection, membrane stabilization, flap design, passivation and suturing with the morphology required for later implant placement.
Membrane strategy, soft-tissue management and healing evaluation are treated as parts of the same reconstructive workflow.
What you’ll learn
Review how defect anatomy, site requirements and restorative objectives influence the regenerative plan.
Follow extraction, socket preservation, vertical GBR, healing evaluation and later implant placement.
Connect CTG and peri-implant soft-tissue management with implant-esthetic objectives.
Study combined vertical GBR and sinus-lift treatment in an atrophic posterior maxilla.
Review resorbable-membrane cases and extensive peri-implantitis defects through staged treatment.
Coordinate regeneration across every treatment stage.Technique focus
The program uses extended clinical cases to connect diagnosis, membrane strategy, grafting, healing and re-entry rather than teaching each step in isolation.
