Refine full-arch design in EXOCAD—from pre-surgical files to immediate and final AOX prostheses.
With Dr. Nate Farley and Brandon Howell

Course information
This advanced course moves from a standard AOX design into more complex full-arch workflows, including FP1 design, copy design and pre-surgical preparation.
The program connects EXOCAD with photogrammetry, immediate and final design workflows, and a Blender bar-and-sleeve sequence. Prior EXOCAD experience and previous AOX design work are recommended.
Who this course is for
Prior EXOCAD experience and some AOX design experience are recommended. This is advanced software training for dentists and dental technicians, not an introductory implant surgery course.
For clinicians and technicians who already understand the software fundamentals and have designed AOX arches.
For dentists and laboratory professionals coordinating digital AOX prosthetic workflows.
For practices that want to prepare, design and verify more of the prosthetic workflow internally.
Digital design strategy
Begin with standard and complex AOX designs, then progress into FP1, photogrammetry and pre-surgical preparation.
Compare immediate design with iMetric and MicronMapper, then review final design with OptiSplint and iMetric, including the XML method. A separate Blender lesson introduces the bar-and-sleeve workflow.
Advanced full-arch design becomes easier to manage when records, prosthetic objectives and software steps are organized before surgery.
What you’ll learn
Move from a standard AOX case into more challenging full-arch design situations.
Transition from traditional AOX prostheses to crown-and-bridge FP1 designs.
Organize case files and predesign steps before the surgical appointment, then review the updates needed afterward.
Review immediate and final design pathways using several grammetry systems.
Use Blender to move from a monolithic design to a bar-and-sleeve concept.
Use a scanned setup as the starting point for a full-arch design rather than rebuilding the arrangement from scratch.
From records to restoration
The key is matching the design sequence to the records available. Compare a scanned setup, pre-surgical files and photogrammetry data, then follow the relevant immediate or final prosthesis workflow.
