DDS, PhD · Periodontology and mucogingival surgery

Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli graduated in dentistry at the University of Bologna and earned a PhD in Medical Biotechnology. He taught periodontology and implantology at Bologna from 2000 to 2025. His work focuses on periodontal plastic surgery and soft-tissue management around teeth and implants. An international lecturer and author, he has developed surgical techniques and published extensively on mucogingival esthetics.
